We got some issues on the OL too.

yes indeed 6-1 is great - If this team plays a complete game, no telling how good they could be.

I’m guessing that you’ll be ecstatic the day he leaves. It’ll be for a bigger gig or failure. I’m hoping it’s not the latter.

The team appears to know "how to win". Coach Napier mentioned in post game he was proud of the team for not hitting the panic button when things did not go well at times. I always look to see how a team responds when challenges arise. They rose up on their last possession on offense and defense did the same. Answered the bell at crunch time. Have to be pleased with that.

    21 Boise
23 Michigan both lost. So there will be 2 new teams in the top 25. I’m not saying our performance deserves it but could we slip back in this week

Winning is fun. Whining obsessively about LL every damn week is not.

FWIW.... it's the OL that is clearly weaker this year. Whilst our pass defense has taken the best step forward. I'll trade the PI calls if it results in more picks. 7 int in last 3 games by our db's plus one on 2 pt is impressive.

Savor the good times,, Lord knows we aged Cajuns know how tough it can be to win with any consistency.

This..... Coach Nap has instilled something here that we have NEVER had... plus an influx of talent that we have never had.. With the talent and the unflinching knowledge that we are GOING TO WIN, these guys and coaches don't panic.... Glory times in Cajun Land

The offensive play calling is terrible period!
We threw for over 200 yards in the first half against Texas State. So, why I do agree that we come out and try to establish the run early, we certainly weren't predictable as soon as a week ago.

Play calling is bad only when it doesn't work.

Agree. He has a script for each game, probably for the first 3-4 series. However, I didn't like the reverse on the 1 yard line, on 4th down. The missed opportunity to put 3 points on the board could have been the decider in this game.

....Slick....I know he is small but unlike HUD we can get an under center snap from LL.....Ragas and Mitch are 2 of the biggest most powerful runners in our football history......sneak it with Ragas and Mitch pushing from the back....also put Humphrey on the goal line off line for just these situations....remember losing a 5A state championship not using great def players to spot situations on off!
