Thread: Walkin to NO

  1. UL Football Walkin to NO

Ltur with the last 4 games a breeze will be our opponent in the NO Bowl.....They will be 8-3 and a great game for the bowl....btw not sure about championship games of the conferences and how that could work out......anybody up to speed on this? Their 2ot win over UAB last night set the stage for this showing the 2 teams evenly matched!

What makes you think the NO dictator will allow fans to be in the stadium? We’re not voting for dictator of NO Tuesday. She’s going to be there for another number of years.

Thinking of the whole experience what good is it having the NOLA bowl in NOLA if fans can’t attend in decent numbers? Even The Bayou Classic going to Shreveport this year. Regardless of whether or not our Cajuns are earmarked for NOLA Bowl, Lafayette should make a strong run at hosting this year at Cajun Field in coordination with the NOLA Bowl folks.

I agree, Boomer. Unless something crazy happens and we get a better bowl invite I see this too. It would be a really good game too!

Currently the NO Bowl has set their game for the date of Dec. 23. Kickoff is 2:30 PM If we are in the SBC championship game, we won't play in that bowl as the conference championship game is on Dec. 19.

Interesting. So this will probably be the loser of Coastal vs App St.

This will get very interesting since one of the national semifinals is the Sugar Bowl this year. Mayor Karen has already halted the Saint's with crowd size. THE NOLA bowl and high school championships at the dome are peanuts.

But then again, there is one school of thought all this is going away Wednesday. We'll see.
