    UL has beaten Texas State by 15 or more points in all seven Sun Belt Conference games since the series began in 2013 and five times by 22 or more.

    This game should have been 56/10 if that. We absolutely played like the team had just come off a big drunken party. Over 122 yards in penalties, most easily avoidable.

    Im real proud of this team, in the past we lost a lot of games like this.

    We’ve got great players both in talent and character. They’re coachable. That’s important.

    Yes I predict the Cajuns will make fewer mistakes going forward simply because they are responsive to the coaching they will receive. I mentioned the offense getting 600 yards but the defense had some moments too. They collected three turnovers, three sacks, had numerous pressures resulting in incompletions, and had good third down numbers. When you do those things you should not give up 34 points and over 200 yards rushing. Strange game. Like Kevin Foote said in the Advocate this morning, it was the best game and worst game of the year on the same night.
