Probably on the trip back from Troy last weekend ... they had a "feeling" then someone would test positive.

Troy did just fine when Neal Brown was their coach. Recall their victory in Tiger STadium. That was only a few years ago. Not sure any loopholes we closed have much impact today.

As I remember, the SBC closed the loophole about 2009. From 2006 to 2010, they were champs or co-champs every year. In the 10 years since, however, Troy has only shared one conference championship:

And I have to say, I find Troy disappointing for many reasons.

Not least of which is outside the stadium where the Trojans play is a huge statue...

I was looking forward to this game. Could a possible solution be treat teams as co champs for bowl selection and reschedule CCG for week or 10 days later? Don't know how that would affect NO Bowl, but have read that bowls may be with more regional opponents this yr. Strange season but the game would be great for your conference, whenever played I would think.
