If anyone doesn't think Coastal lobbied for this SBC stance BEFORE the cancellation ... Surprise.
Coastal Covilina
It is simple guys. They did not want to play the game. It was an easy out.
I still don't see why we wait and see what happens Saturday with Cincy and Tulsa and the CFP selection show for the NY6 bowl and then just reschedule the game in lieu of a bowl or make it a bowl/championship game if in fact Cincy wins and gets the NY6 Bowl game for G5.
Chicken S+it
PS: what a waste of money to fly there and stay in a hotel in these financial covid times for all universities. SBC and/or Coastal should pay our bill if they do not reschedule this game.
Terrible! UL Softball was truly a National Championship contender and season cancelled.
UL Football had the best season in program history, beating a top 25 Big 12 team Iowa State and ended season ranked in top 25 and chance at NY6 bowl and championship cancelled. This year hurts guys.
Could not agree more... Y'all think the SEC would cancel their conference championship? The Pac-12? Big 10? Just this pathetic, sorry excuse for a conference... laughable man, HA HA!

Nah, The ____icleers and their ____stain coach wouldn't do anything illegal or scummy to get ahead right? No way theres a coincidence here. Seriously hope for the worst for him, that ____hole university, its heroin addicted fans, and the ____tard players. In 2018, the NCAA released a detailed report concerning numerous NCAA violations that occurred during Chadwell’s tenure as the CSU head football coach. The violations ranged from using multiple ineligible players to players using scholarship funds to purchase electronics and jewelry from the campus book store. Ultimately, the NCAA sanctions vacated 18 wins from the 2014 and 2015 seasons and the 2015 Big South Championship. Also vacated were three wins over crosstown rival The Citadel, games during which CSU used ineligible players.
