App and GS came into FBS and whipped everybody’s ___ just saying. If you know how to run a winning program it doesn’t really matter. If anything these 3 teams price there isn’t a whole lotta of difference once you have the same amount of scholarships. App started 1-5 in FBS and has gone 60-12 since

If we can't start running effectively in the first half, we won't be in the championship game.

Running the ball has been the glue keeping all of this together for 2 years. Without it, all of our deficiencies are on full display.

I'm thinking we need to mix in a lot more true option football like Coastal. Levi must run the ball more. I'm sick of seeing him hand the ball off when the outside is wide open. They know he never keeps the ball.

It's not a point of pride losing to FBS infants. That's so defeatist...it hurts.

He only ran for touchdowns. LeBlac and others dropped balls all night.

I enjoyed the ride. Still a lot of things to play for.

Any non partisan football fan that happened to watch this game, left loving football.

Exactly. I'm sick of upstart FCS move-ups coming out of nowhere and overtaking us. We were all duped by how good we looked against ISU. I can't explain how we beat them, but after two narrow escapes against lower level Sunbelt teams, here we are once again hoping for at best, to win a conference championship game for the first time ever and a vaunted NO Bowl berth.

How is it that after being picked last in the division, that CCU is all of a sudden the class of the league?

upstart programs are given exceptions and dont play by the same grade or recruiting rules for the first few years allowing them to stack the teams early

Along with Ohio State, Clemson, and a host of others.

Inaugural members I think they call it.

So I'm rebutting both of your posts above. First off you know I'm not worth a crap trying to score brownie points. Secondly my record of seeing great talent & projecting it to the next level in football is pretty much unrivaled by almost anyone anywhere as I should have proven when I saw Dwight Bentley one practice before the season started & told you guys he was gonna be drafted pretty high in the NFL & was ridiculed by this board vehemently for making such an impossible statement. That was until it happened. And I have many many other evaluations which have panned out to be true.

And I'm telling you now that kid from Coastal, barring a major injury, is going to be a very high draft pick in the NFL IF he continues to play at the level he played the other night. Now, as far as not playing up to their capability, I agree with you that UL wasn't playing up to their capabilities the last two games. But they played their best game of the year last night. Coastal was just absolutely incredible. Can UL play better? I believe they can & I believe they will. But Napier was planning to play this game against App. State 2 1/2 weeks ago. But the whole season got turned upside down on him.

But they are now into their offensive scheme for the first time this year. And they will improve offensively. And that will take the pressure off their defense & allow them to play a lot more open & loose. When this season is over even you are going to be happy unless you were going to be totally disappointed with anything less than a BCS playoff invitation. I'm telling as strongly as I can that this is an excellent team & that the SBC is the class of this year's G-5 conferences.
