  1. UL Football PreGame: Coastal Carolina



    Louisiana Football's Sun Belt Conference game against Coastal Carolina will now be played on Saturday, Oct. 10, at Cajun Field. Kickoff has been scheduled for 11 a.m. CT on ESPN2.

    After what they did to stAte last week we better be ready for the chants! Remember, we let those guys roll into Cajun Field and beat us once already!!

    Saw that QB, and ISU also had an all everything QB, GSU, was tremendous vs us and ECU. It’s never good to dismiss opponents, but I believe our defense has proven to be very aggressive and the defensive backs coverage is outstanding. Guess what I’m saying is respect should include just enough fear to make them focused but not deers in a headlight. We, as a team pose a severe test for Coastal. Should be a great game, the kind of game we should hope to be in many times.

    If it happens as Mizzou & LSUA&M BR is perhaps thinking, we may be BRINGING our A game to CC.

    We definitely should not give up the home game. If it's necessary, just play it on Oct. 17 as originally scheduled.

    lets hope for a fast western track into sw Texas which would lessen any effects in Lafayette, but Im not holding out a lot of hope for being in Cajun Field this weekend. The good this is that we do have the 17th to fall back on

    The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Department of Athletics and Coastal Carolina, in collaboration with the Sun Belt Conference, have agreed to move the football game scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 10, at Cajun Field to Wednesday, Oct. 14, due to the potential impact of Hurricane Delta. Kickoff is slated for 6:30 p.m. CT on ESPN.

  11. Default UL-Coastal Carolina game postponed until Wednesday; site depends on hurricane's impact

    With Hurricane Delta's expected arrival in the area Saturday, UL's home meeting with Coastal Carolina has been postponed to Wednesday, Oct. 14.

    The game will feature two undefeated Sun Belt teams at 6:30 p.m. on ESPN.

  12. Ragin' Cajuns The Swamp: Louisiana vs. Coastal Carolina Cleared for Kickoff



    Following the landfall of Hurricane Delta and the storm's movement through southern Louisiana, the Department of Athletics, University leadership and local law enforcement have confirmed Cajun Field and the surrounding sports park facilities are prepared to host the Sun Belt Conference matchup.
