My understanding was that beer and alcohol sales in Tiger Stadium were restricted to "club" areas such as suites and a dedicated club space that you had to buy your way into. During non-Covid times a regular Joe with tickets in the upper deck that he bought on StubHub wouldn't be able to get a beer in Tiger Stadium.

because the narrative that black is not a school color is false, as we are always blackballed

From Advocate article in my post:
LSU will sell alcohol inside Tiger Stadium this weekend, and the school no longer requires completion of a CDC wellness check before entering the venue.

LSU adjusted its coronavirus protocols Monday after reviewing policies and listening to fan feedback from the Tigers' first game. LSU didn't sell alcohol in Tiger Stadium during the season opener.

Moving forward, fans can purchase alcohol throughout the stadium. They must wear a face covering over their nose and mouth to buy alcohol. The school said it won't allow consumption away from ticketed seats.

I missed the memo last year where the SEC revised their policy and left things up to the individual school. I stand corrected.
