The Vermilion Parish Registrar of Voters was busy Saturday with early voters and they expect to be busy for the next week.
They were busy because early voting began Saturday and will continue throughout the week from 8:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. That time includes Saturday, also.
There were 41 people who voted this past Saturday.
The election is a parish-wide election because on the ballot is a parish-wide proposition.
