That's bad coaching. How many missed kicks do they need to see. Terrible lack of depth on FG kickers is the coaches fault.

It's obvious they have zero confidence in Snyder. On the very first possession, they elected to go for it when they had 4&5 from the 15 yard line instead of putting the first 3 points on the board. Should be 13 - 7 right now, Cajuns. Unless they find a kicker, it will cost us a game or two this year. Hopefully not today.

Coach didn't want to kick it, I can tell you that. He refused to in a couple of drives previously but at that point in the half with that much time, you have to put the kicker out there with a hopeful assumption he can earn his scholarship and put in through. It's not like this guy is missing 50 yard FG's. These are in the 30-40 yard range.

I agree, they had to kick it, we needed those points. It's such a huge anchor at this point to not be able to rely on getting a FG.

Yep. We've been cursed the last few years really. Artigue was horrible for a couple of years and finally got it together for a portion of last year.

The offense needs more possessions, our defense has to tighten up, don't make stupid plays, like pulling the helmet off of the guy, and give our offense a chance to make some points. Causing a fumble or 2 would be great.

Agree. Thought he should have been benched his first three years and half (missed one year due to injury- which happened to be the best fg kicker we have had since Hud's first year). But every time Artigue was replaced, the replacement kicker was worse than Artigue. However, the latter part of his final year was actually surprisingly different.

But as the saying goes, better be careful of what you wish for, you might just get it. Always thought anyone had to be better than Artigue, and was so glad he had finally moved on. But now we have Snyder.......I was sooooooo wrong.
