Two jobs out west are open that have are great fits for him with similiar paydays. I think the window for Tim Floyd being the head coach at UL is closing quickly. I hope that I am wrong.

I would like to clarfiy that these are rumors as well, but the whole coaching search is clouded with rumor.

I don't think Trent Johnson is going to go to Boise State. I'm pretty sure he makes more at LSU than Boise St's football coach. I know BR is a dreadful town to live in, but I don't see him taking a 500,000 dollar pay cut, at least, to go coach a team with no shot of ever winning a NC.

Rumor is that Boise would be willing to pay big money....

I just became a huge Bronco fan. In fact, I just switched my RCAF membership over to Boise St. Oh, and what do ya know; I just got a RENEWAL email!

There was a note in the SI online version that Johnson may want to go to Boise State because it is his alma mater. Personally, I don't see them hiring him or he wanting to go there at this stage. Now Floyd could come here and jump to LSU in a couple of years if Johnson does not turn it around. That would be OK with me as it would me Floyd was successful here.

All I ever ask of any of our coaches is to leave the place better than they found it.

Unfortunately, that seems like a very rare feat at UL.
