    Default Louisiana Football Live (09-14-2020)

Last night's Louisiana Football Live over at Pete's was pretty informative. Coach Napier said (and some have already reported this) that, health wise, they are good to go. No one who was banged up on Saturday will miss this week. And, you get Zi'Yon Hill back. Very good news on that front.

Dr. Maggard was very informative. He said the guidelines for Cajun Field will come out in the next day or two. But he did say that the state schools are uniform in what is happening as all this had to be approved by the state.

    1. 25% capacity. But Dr. Maggard said, with social distancing guidelines, capacity at Cajun Field would be around 7,000 or so.
    2. Pride of Acadiana and spirit groups will perform in the stands with social distancing measures.
    3. No tailgating
    4. No alcohol sales.
    5. Can't bring alcohol into the stadium.
    6. Masks will be mandatory except while eating or drinking.

Those were the things he touched on. My guess is there will be more.

They've just about completed the reseating and that should be made known in the next few days.

He also said they anticipate some positive COVID tests this week. In fact, he said he'd be very surprised if they have none.

Just as an FYI, testing was done this morning. My wife was on her way there at 6:15.

Yeah, it's today and tomorrow. I get swabbed tomorrow morning. But just once this week as opposed to the three times last week.

I thought the capacity was about 41,000. 25% would be over 10,000.

Even Elijah Mitchell? I was worried about him for this game after that late hit he took.

Also, not sure what alcohol has to do with the spread of the virus. Interesting that JBE put alcohol sales restrictions in the last mandate.

It has nothing to do with the virus or the welfare of the people. He'll do anything to hurt the economy, and keep us from getting our lives back to where they should be, probably until Nov. 3.

25% of cajun field would be 10,275 not 7,000

While that is technically correct, you can't do proper social distancing at Cajun Field with much more than 7,000.
