Maybe because that is the name of the university? I don't know I listened to it, I didn't watch Finebaum. All I know is Finebaum called us Louisiana. The AP poll has us as La.-Laf, do you not want the ranking.

I know that there are not many places on the college landscape that can keep a coach for the long haul, but I would love it if Coach Napier could stick around for a few more years and continue to build a really solid foundation for this program. UL is unbelievably blessed to have him, and his entire staff, building the brand!

I would be shocked if a job that he wants opens up this year. The way everyone is going through budget cuts it will be hard to pay a buyout while you are laying off staff. I think we have him for another year. But then again what do I know.

I was thinking the same thing. The timing just is t right with the way the world is right now. Also, if the big 10 and pac 12 stand pat, would they make coaching changes?

You really only have to worry about the SEC or Big 12. The SEC filled the 2 Mississippi jobs so they are out. Vandy? Tennessee? South Carolina? Those we may have to look out for.

Personally, I think the schools you were about are in Georgia and the Carolinas. I don't see Vandy in play, but maybe Tenn. Just my 1 cent.
