Sunday was a pitiful comedy of errors, except it wasn't funny at all!!!

It's fairly apparent that this is not a very good team...they can't hit well, they can't field well and they can't pitch well at times either! I agree that it's time for Robe to be held accountable...it's been 10 years since Omaha, with only limited success since.

Fans don't like watching bad baseball, just like fans don't like watching bad football or basketball either!!!

Robe better find a way to make this team do a magical 180 degree turn soon!

the team lacked focus... on several occasions the catcher over throws the picture on warm-up tosses....

    man what has happened??? _
Then head over to Blackham and catch an IceGators game...Oh wait then you would be subjected to horrible..horrible...horrible hockey. This will not go down as a good year for sports in Acadiana.

It had that atmosphere before Tony.

Anyone remember running for miscues in games? I remember running doubles for strikeouts looking, leaving runners on, not getting a bunt down, etc. And this wasn't an individual punishment. Everyone on the team ran for everyone's miscues. Before long, the guys doing their job get fed up and start lighting a fire under the others. Anything like this going on with Robe's teams?

Not true... I was there before Cajun Baseball was cool.... When we could bring ice chests into the stadium... Tony has continued to upgrade and improve the game day experience...the GROWTH of Cajun baseball is attributable in very large part to him....

Having said that... as one of the BIGGEST Robe loyalist... its time to bring good Robe baseball back.... or he should begin to feel some heat....

RUN EM TILL YA CANT RUN NO MOE!!!!! But on the other hand, the way they are throwing the ball everywhere but to a person with a glove they'll be in great shape at the rate there going. Hopefully someone or something lights a fire under 'em before its too late.

You have a point. I think this point is and should be equally made in other sports as well. However, it seems that ultimately, the coach is always responsible. I'm all for having a poor year. UNC had a dreadful year this year after winning the national title last year and while its foolish to expect them to return there losing 4 NBA players, they brought in the best recruiting class in the nation, or we so thought. However, as bad as they looked (And they looked BAD), can you say that Roy Williams is a poor coach? No. However, Robe's teams have been doing this for some time and its not improving. Many people would say that its his players that he's recruiting that are making these mistakes. Anyhow, that point could be made in any sport like football but somehow, the coach always gets blamed for those dropped passes, fumbles and interceptions that cause you not to win games. There's no easy answer and there's certainly not ONE answer to your question but we all know who ends up responsible whether its totally justified or not.

Trust me... NO ONE is bulletproof. I have baseball season tickets and have had them for many, many years. But as much fun as I do have when I attend a game at The Tigue, I would not continue to pay for watching bad baseball for much longer. This is 3 years in a row... and at some point, the "game atmosphere" is not enough.

    And to answer this post...

... the HEAD COACH is (and should always be) responsible!
