Louisiana's School of Architecture and Design will host the first in a series of lectures about industrial design, interior design and architecture on Wednesday. All lectures will be held in Fletcher Hall, room 134 at 3:30 p.m. The first speaker will be Joe Davis, a research affiliate in the biology department at MIT. His speech s "Genesthetics: Molecular Biology and Microbiology in the Arts.”

Dr. Narsingh Deo, Millican Eminent Scholar Chair at the University of Central Florida, will be the guest speaker at a lecture series on Wednesday at UL. Deo’s talk, entitled “Computing the 3-D Molecular Structure in Parallel” is part of a series hosted by the Center for Advanced Computer Studies. The lecture will begin at 11 a.m. in the Conference Center, room 469.
