_ Agreed, and I didn't mean to imply that the pitching staff is horrible, just not as lauded as we were lead to believe at the beginning of the year.

One of my beefs with Robe is that he doesn't give some of the other pitchres enough of a shot, or even a shot at all. Obviously, I am not at practice every day to see how they look, but if they aren't good enough to see the field, then why recruit them? _

One last point and I'll give my fingers a rest. Pitchers from the past will tell you run support and soft gloves make their job easier and makes them look better. It is easier (assuming you can pitch) to get in a rocking chair with a 5 run lead after two innings, something recent teams haven't done much. The extra outs we give up stretches the staff out, exposes depth and pretty soon it snowballs downhill.

Shouldn't we expect a GREAT class this coming year since Robe does not have to worry about keeping up the field?
