Cajun Field attendence

Most schools that have announced are in the 20-25% range of stadium capacity. I like my seats but will sit where ever this season.

10,356 is 25% of the official capacity at Cajun field. Anyone know where we’re at on season ticket sales?

While capacity is part of it, social distancing is the other part. We will lose capacity because of the seats being close together.

In many cases families who already live in close intimacy can be be seated together. Computers can quickly figure out seating to include both distancing and non distancing.

I may have seen 2000+ students at one game. They are too busy complaining about the music at the tailgate to worry about the game.

If there’s no tailgating it will be interesting to see if more students show up because of nothing else to do or less show up because they can’t tailgate.

I think I am going to pass on this year's football season. I don't think I want to fight all the hubub.

As long as the games will still be on ESPN+ I'm good as well and will choose to stay away.

Good News. The Thursday game against Ark. State has been moved to Saturday for TV.

Unfortunate news: There will be NO tailgating

Seating:
First 4 seats on each row will be blocked off – so if a row has 30 seats – we start with 22 available.

4 seats on each row next to occupied seats must be empty.

First 2 rows on the top and bottom will not be seated.

There will be 2 empty rows in between seated rows. So if the section has 30 rows you only have 9 rows with people.

Suites will have about 40% occupancy and not allowed to roam around.

Concessions will be limited

Will Russo Park be open to hang out watching the Cajuns during football games? Just thinking we can walk around a few hundred people at Wal Mart or Home Depot wearing a mask. Why not at the ballpark?
