We had Kansas State here once, Texas A&M when they were still in the conference, and Oklahoma State twice.

Yeah, the Huskers have p'd off alot of people in that Conference. I always thought it was a huge mistake for them to leave the Big (8) 12.

I guess it’s more about losing to Ohio State than beating Kansas.

Their program hasn't been the same since Osborne left.

Yeah, Frank Solich with at 58-19 in six years just wasn't good enough.

.75 isn’t going to get you a shot at national championship

Probably not, but I think that ship has sailed for Nebraska. I think except for one coach is a heck of a lot better record than any of the others that have followed Osborne.

Nebraska fans don’t realize they haven’t got enough home grown athletes to compete with the elites. Sort of sad actually.

They sure seemed to when Osborne was there. Solich had a good record while in Lincoln. Just not good enough. And they haven't made a serious run for a championship since they switched conferences.

Actually they were getting the athletes from Florida & other talent rich southern states. These players are not leaving for Nebraska anywhere near the past. They still can get the big strong linemen locally but not the fastest talented backs and other skill positions.
