I don't think JBE actually has the power to do what he's doing and dictate to us what we can and can't do. He's not a King! There should be more push back against him.

While I agree, you really think the administration at the university will push back? Right now he is king.

I was referring mainly to the Legislature in BR. I wish some of those RINOs had more of a spine.

Rumors going around are, that the Southland will move conference games to the spring but allow non-conference games in the fall. I saw another rumor that said that they will allow up to 5 non-conference games in the fall and have 6 conference games in the spring. I don't know the veracity of any of these rumors. We should hear something from the Southland Conf today or soon. The only thing I do know for sure is that McNeese resumed preseason practices today.

Foregone conclusion but NMSU has officially cancelled their Fall sports.

Dr. Maggard said this morning that he expected that and was really not concerned. Gives him another date to potentially get us a fifth home game if McNeese cancels. Even if SLC season moves to spring, they may allow those schools to play a few non conference games in the fall for revenue purposes.

Southland Conference Statement on Fall Sports:

    https://www.southland.org/news/2020/...-semester.aspx

    From inside the statement:
"Institutions may choose to participate in limited fall competition"
