Here's an Idea for Filling our schedule

This is NOT just Nebraska.
There are other Big 10 and PAC 12 schools (and probably others to come from other conferences who are bound to cancel seasons like ACC and maybe BIG 12) who have “dissented” and want to play.
So our AD is Hopefully seeing this and trying to secure one or two of these schools for this season.

Just curious? Why is securing road games so important? This season is going to be weird regardless. Not gonna get the access bowl if it even happens.

Army has 6 open dates, 6! Either here or there (which is a great venue for a game)...and a win would kick them out of our recruiting footprint as well...

Marshall....2 opens
Central Fla...1 open
South Fla...2 open
East Carolina...1 open
Middle Tenn...1 open

Curious as to how many home dates each team already has? I would not play Middle TN at their place this year unless they agree to come to us in the near future. That may mean we might have to not play an FCS game.

All were listed as pending...which is right, there's going to be a big mix up as far as what people expected to be home games. We've got the team this year to go into any of those listed house and beat them. Like they used to say at FSU, anytime...anyplace...

I’d like East Carolina at Cajun field. A winnable game against an AAC school. If not them then Marshall here. We need to get that home game back.

I seriously doubt we get another home game. Just about all of those teams with openings would rather have one less game than come here. Perhaps we do get a future home game by going away on November 21. Right now, that is our only date open. We may choose to keep it open in the event a conference game is postponed.

Right now we are scheduled to go to New Mexico State, I doubt that game will happen. The governor of New Mexico has asked both NMSU and UNM not to play football this fall. That is a possible open date. Also, it is highly unlikely the game against McNeese is played, they would have to start practicing soon.

McNeese game is not going to happen. Southland Conference will be announcing no football soon, probably tomorrow.
