MINNEAPOLIS — Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns didn’t know it when they took the Metrodome field Saturday night, but they had no chance.
The Minnesota Golden Gophers quickly let the visitors in on the plan, though, scoring on their first five possessions and seven of eight in the first half to make their point clear.
It was 41-7 at the break, and the Gophers went on to power their way to a 48-14 victory over the Cajuns.
Coach Rickey Bustle’s Cajuns fell to 0-4 on the year heading into next week’s Sun Belt Conference game at North Texas.
