Following its historic 31-14 victory over No. 23 Iowa State, Louisiana Football has picked up its first national rankings in the modern era after being voted No. 19 in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll and No. 21 in the USA Today Amway Coaches Poll.

While I like the National attention, this just doesn’t feel like the real deal to me. Too many teams not playing football this year and not even factored into rankings. Great win, but would have been so much sweeter to watch this particular team have a regular season with fans in the stands.
