My point. Thought I would beat the dead horse. Now we have some clue on what this property could be worth that we are giving away for $20,000 in rentals.

Is there anyway this opportunity can come back to the table?

I have no idea. The landscape in collegiate sports is changing rapidly. G5 schools might be obsolete after COVID. The papers should have been signed a while ago.

    What a train wreck.

The thought of this is embarrassing. This would not only be a win-win situation for the university, but it would be a major win for Lafayette and the entire region as a whole.

And 3,000 to 4,000 25 times or so for baseball games.

The person that tried to help facilitate the deal resigned from the university because of this event. I doubt seriously if they are willing to come back to the table after not even getting a meeting.

There is no chance of rain for a few days now, however Vic and MAT agree, surely it will storm.

Even though you both have your differences, this is a case where everyone involved financially and emotionally with this university should be asking questions.

Did I mention that getting our enrollment to around 21k would pay all of our debts? Yeah, the Tourism Group for the area offered to fund some money (Pay for Cajun food, a truck, etc.) for us to recruit students in other states. Still no call back on our part of course.

He lacks the vision we need to move forward and he is undercutting his AD today. His fund raising apparatus has been basically cut off at the knees because of his recent stupidity and comments. He's not listening to the people he hired as consultants, he's listening to the same old cronies that have been in his circle for years.
