Why can’t we do this at Cajun Field?
Why can’t we do this at Cajun Field?
Dude, there was a thread on here a while back claiming this was explored but not pursued.
I have no clue what is fact or fiction on that, but it was discussed.
This has already been proposed by the Alden team and was shot down by Savoie an dem. Plenty of real estate for something like this along Congress
Our parking goes to waste for most of the games.
Why not put it in the parking lot right next to the stadium if we have plenty parking?
Can we bring back that thread in regards to the retail shopping center around Cajun Field?
Something like this could rekindle the fire . . .
Yeah it’s been a few years. That’s pretty sad, I always loved watching the tailgaters on Saturday mornings. Got me excited for the game.
If there aren’t many tailgaters, or fans parked in general, maybe we could add a district. I still wonder about cost though. And unlike Tennessee a hotel would not be necessary. Like I said, there is a Hilton Garden Inn across the street. You guys managed to convince me that this is a good idea. LOL
New Orleans has what is known as the Louisiana Sports and Exposition District around the Dome and Arena and it has generated more money than ever thought possible.
Champions Square is a direct result of it.
Having your town's Saturday/Sunday/MNF game as the back drop to a show seems to work pretty damn well.
That would take people who WANT to be big time and who WANT to succeed in athletics. We hate money and have no vision.
