Even though you both have your differences, this is a case where everyone involved financially and emotionally with this university should be asking questions.

Did I mention that getting our enrollment to around 21k would pay all of our debts? Yeah, the Tourism Group for the area offered to fund some money (Pay for Cajun food, a truck, etc.) for us to recruit students in other states. Still no call back on our part of course.

He lacks the vision we need to move forward and he is undercutting his AD today. His fund raising apparatus has been basically cut off at the knees because of his recent stupidity and comments. He's not listening to the people he hired as consultants, he's listening to the same old cronies that have been in his circle for years.

I hate to be cynical, but 30M a year just sounds crazy high. I checked in one of the most hottest real estate area in the country now (Collin County Texas) and I found prime Commercial real-estate SELLING for about 1-1.5M an acre. To me, it sounds like the numbers are a little far fetched. I don't doubt that an opportunity was missed, but 30M a year sounds crazy bazaar.

Does anyone know how many acres were involved?

Cmon Baw...What does this even mean? I travel our beautiful State quite frequently for my job. I’m in Lafayette several times a month. I understand enough to know that Lafayette’s (along w/ BR) infrastructure/roads are wet garbage. Your old city/parish leadership didn’t plan at all for growth. Now they want to build a toll loop....
Do you honestly think that BPro would invest in a non traditional, highly congested spot in a saturated market? You got a decent little F & S off Ambassador, not to mention a Cabela’s in Gonzales. Not gonna happen!

Thank God! For a small college town, RSN is doing quite fine for itself.

Y’all should thank god that LaTurd has an administration dead set on maximizing academic and athletic potential. One thing I’ll give La Tech Credit for is they maximize their potential.

All the while we stifle any true advancement in academia and athletics.

Bass Pro already in Denham less than an hour away. Then you have another one at LA boardwalk development in Bossier City, next to Casinos.
When did Denham Springs move? If you can get there from here in less than an hour, I don't want to be near you on the road.
