Fall Football Roster

Just had a couple of minutes to browse it, and some quick observations/confirmations on new Freshmen:

1. Caleb Anderson - 6'2", 190, listed as CB
2. Tyree Skipper - 6'1", 185, listed as S
3. Trey Amos - 6'0", 175, listed as CB
4. Korian Wilson - 5'11", 175, listed as CB, wasn't announced on signing, but was a 2* out of Alabama.
5. Andray Pope - 6'1", 200, listed as RB
6. Dabari Hawkins - 6'3", 190, listed as CB
7. Courtline Flowers - 6'1", 175, listed as CB

Some of these were listed as ATH when we signed them so interesting to see where they ended up. If Anderson and/or Hawkins can stick at CB, we have some serious size at that position. I am excited about the WR class, but the DB class could be one for the ages.

And in other football news,Cejae Ceaser, Iowa HS 3* Safty, according to 247 is a 100% UL crystal ball pick. Offers from Air Force, K State, Tulane, among others. 6'2 200 lbs.

That is a good size Safety, already in HS. Can see him growing into that hybrid LB and Safety position.

Early on in the shutdown, several (<10) were doing calisthenics at Chargois Park, so we stopped just to watch.

Toward the end, when some of the restrictions had eased, the numbers had increased, coaches were there, and they were running 7-on-7s. So we stopped to watch.

Pretty sure it was Chandler running some/a lot of the drills.

Sick accuracy. If the ball ended up on the ground (which it didn't often) it wasn't due to a poorly thrown ball.

One particular pass on a slant about 15-20 yards downfield probably left rug rash on the corner's right ear. Corner was intimately in the receiver's hip pocket. Corner HAD to hear the whistle of the ball and never had a chance.

Reason #1 the kid from Maryland/UTEP/parts unknown transferred out.
