He was good in high school but nothing special never though he would be this good in college.
However the Erath teams he was on were pretty bad though

Well, I can tell you, those of us from Erath who watched him play often sure thought he would. You do know he had other offers from bigger schools that he turned down to come to UL? Typical small school mentality.

Agreed. There were other reasons as well that he wanted to stay close to home. My BIL is a coach at Erath. I was just thrilled he choose UL. He’s a really good kid.

He is a totally different back now than he was in High school which is a good thing.. What I mean by special is some one like Hillard that was in his district that just took over the game
