All of college athletics and basketball in particular will have that issue from this point on. Everyone involved is certain the one time transfer rule without penalty is going to go into effect at this time next year. In our case, hopefully the “trades” we have made result in a more talented squad. On paper that seems to be the case.

I know several people planning to renew. Of course those who have moved on will not come back following a losing season. It is an individual decision which should be respected by others regardless of what one decides. No one has the right to tell others what to do with their time or money despite some politicians indicating the opposite these days. However I would be disappointed if the administration/program did not make an effort to encourage renewals. Every business has to make marketing efforts of that nature to survive. Does anyone really think it would be beneficial not to do so? I don’t see how it would be so.
