2020 Early start to fall semester

UL plans to start classes a week before they would normally start. Students report 8/17, no fall break and classes are done the Wednesday prior to Thanksgiving. Graduation set for 12/8.

My daughter goes to the school across the basin and they're following a similar schedule. Start a week later than UL but also eliminate fall break and don't return after Thanksgiving. Everything online through finals.

Faculty were advised yesterday. They report the Wednesday before the students. My guess would be sometime early next week.

100 pct online but student-athletes still receive scholarship $ for room and board. no longer can argue that education is primary purpose for the funds anymore. also sounds like zero pct chance to monitor/confirm if student’s are doing their own work?
