That is an outstanding thing to do! As a veteran, l salute him & wish well in this endeavor! Hopefully we can get some updates on him from time-to-time. Which branch is he going into?

I’m not sure which branch, just that he had decided to enlist.

He has decided to honorably serve with our nations finest and has enlisted into military service. As someone who has served for 21 years and made the choice while I was an athlete at this university I applaud his decision.

One has to wonder how someone who is this patriotic would fit in with today’s younger cancel culture.

Where is Brandon Legendre? I heard tonight he is no longer on the team, has anyone heard this or knows why he is no longer on the team?

I had heard that a while back. Then recently heard he's rooming with a couple of receivers and a quarterback from his class in an apartment. Not sure if he changed his mind or not. I guess we shall see.

Big decisions for a young man to make. Most don't realize the gravity of decisions made early in adult life. Hoping he's fully informed and thoroughly understands his choices.

My son was at Brandon’s apartment last week. He is still in school here. He did quit football to spend more time with his family before he joins the Navy Seals. He said once he does that he won’t see his family much at all. Good luck to him in his future service to our nation.

Just to be clear, you don't join the Navy Seals. You join the Navy and then you attempt to earn a spot with the Navy Seals.

That is the truth. Very few that try make it. I know two local boys that have tried in the last couple of years and ended up tapping out at some time in the process. However, one must be admired for having the courage to even try.
