Are you really surprised that a reporter in today's media got something wrong?

My first year on the broadcasts was 1992 and I did ten years as Don's color analyst. When people ask me about it I always say I've been on the broadcasts for 28 years. And, I don't think I've ever referred to myself as the "Voice of the Cajuns." But just about everyone else does and that leads folks to think I've been doing pbp all that time. The same thing happened with Don and Ron Gomez. Don had a good mentor.

    So did I.

Amen on both counts! UL/USL has been blessed with radio talent.

I still remember Don’s voice over the radio, the night Jake and boys beat A&M.

AOR...K94 was nice for us missing KAAY with Clyde Clifford Friday and Saturday nights driving home blind some nights. They didn’t do underground music, but was the next best thing. Man, I'm old...

I'll always remember his call of Damon Mason's interception that sealed it. He yelled CAJUNS' BALL GAME and we high fived in the booth so loudly it went over the air.

Just thinking the same thing. I got married in 95 and remember listening to you call the Tx Tech game at engaged encounter during a break with jay doing color the 94 season. What was your last season Don?

Most of 1999-2000 baseball, I think. Dates, like a lot of other things, aren't exactly my forte.
