The St. Mary Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force, consisting of St. Mary Sheriff Dept., Morgan City Police Dept., Franklin Police Dept., Baldwin Police Dept.., Berwick Police Dept., and Chitimacha Police Dept.. report the following arrests:

Chad Jones 33 yoa of 3125 Diane Dr., Morgan City and Keddrick Powe 26 yoa of 203 ½ Brashear Ave., Morgan City were arrested on 3-11-2010 at 1:00 pm for Possession of Crack Cocaine over 28grams, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Violation of a Uniform CDS Law (Drug Free Zone) and Chad Jones also being charged with Possession of a Legend Drug. Agents of the Narcotics Task Force executed a search warrant at 203 ½ Brashear Ave

... During the search of residence Agents located crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia. Agents also conducted a traffic stop at the same time on a Chad Jones who was observed coming and going from the residence. During the search of Jones vehicle a pill bottle was found with pills. After investigation both suspects were placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail on above charges with no bonds at this time.
