Tried a sample at the store a couple weeks ago. Very smooth. I ended up purchasing a bottle of Bulleit Blenders Select. After tasting the Bayou Rum, I had think twice about not picking up a bottle of it.

I'm a fan of the Bayou Rum Select. I think the Nunu's selected is smoother.

Just picked up a bottle of sazerac rye. Great stuff. I like the stout back side flavor. But then again I'm a rye vodka person also.

Try a bottle of Sagamore Rye, Total Wine or Speck’s has it. Champagnes was able to get the cognac aged, not my flavor. Also Bulleit Rye handle at Champagnes is $39.00, wont find it cheaper. For higher dollar Colonel Taylor or Willet Rye are solid, James E. Pepper Rye is great at around $35 a 1/5th.

I like it but it's not my favorite rye. Bulleitt Rye is very good. And, Old Grandad pure rye is much better than I thought it would be.
