BYU could not play in Cincy‘s place cause they are not a G5 champion. This stuff has been beat to death. If BYU were to be in a NY6 bowl game it would be cause of them getting an at-large bid. Even if they got an at-large bid, Cincy would still have been the G5 rep in the peach bowl.

The whole purpose of BYU going play at Coastal was to "up" their resume for a NYD6 invite.

Of course they would have had to win for that to happen.

The Saints can pull other players from practice squad, etc. In college you can't just pull other players. With that being said Coastal still ducked us. They only had one coach with the virus. As you said you play the damn game.

The Saints can pull other players from practice squad, etc. In college you can't just pull other players. With that being said Coastal still ducked us. They only had one coach with the virus. As you said you play the damn game.

College teams have 85 on scholarship, and up to a hundred on the team. NFL 53 plus practice squad and possibly free agents. The free agents need to pass two week clearance. Collages are in much superior position.
