All I want for Christmas is to play in a New Years Bowl or beat Coastal on the field. To make it more exciting both teams put up their co-champ trophies on the outcome, and winner takes all.

Only reason i said Marshall is because Dr. Maggard said c-usa was the most likely opponents for the Sun Belt if we didnt make the NY6. and UAB rematch is not likely. He also said their is possibility of other teams due to all the opt outs, but could not bank on that. I get people listing what they want. I'm only saying what was most likely. I would prefer a P5 open up for us. not many good options this year, when we are the top 20 team.

    Louisiana Vegas Odds

I know the CC coach picked us as favorites for Championship game. Does anybody know what the last odds from the Vegas were before the cancellation?? Also I wonder what the bonus was for Coastal's coach to be a co-champion with an undefeated season.

I think we were 3.5 dogs. I think CC coaches contract paid an extra 400k or 500k for the co-champ achievement. no extra money for being undefeated. no doubt he won from this situation.

Chadwell’s contract this season calls for a $200,000 bonus for a Sun Belt East Division title, $300,000 for a conference championship, $150,000 for a bowl invitation and $200,000 for a bowl victory. Those are all cumulative, so he could collect them all totaling $850,000.

Chadwell also has incentives for season-end rankings in the AP Top 25, Amway Coaches Poll, College Football Playoff rankings or Sagarin rankings. A top 25 ranking earns a $400,000 bonus while a top 50 ranking garners a $250,000 bonus. The Chants are currently in the top 12 of the AP, coaches and CFP rankings.

If written well by univ co-champ as well as champ "for cfp" purposes probably shouldnt qualify

Sagarin has the shants at 46 and cajuns at 47, .19 points apart. Pre iowa st game (tenth by the way)... When did sagarin become such a sell out. Wowzer take a peruse of these rankings.

Sorry if dumb q: the montgomery bowl and camelia bowl are in the same stadium and neither have a sponsor? Sounds like a disaster. And how could a city host four teams worth of bowl week activities if plan moving fwd has these bowls scheduled only a few days apart

My understanding is there are no bowl activities. Teams come in day before or so before game and leave soon afterwards, much like a regular season game.

We will go where we are told to go, we won't have options. Which make the link below the most asinie thread of the football season. You'd think they know better by now.

The luster is off the bloom this season for UL, but I feel sorry for whomever lines up across us in the next game. Apparently CCU rotates off our schedule next year, so we need to win the west again and hope CCU wins the east.
