Well....we have to beat the chants and then worse case, we should get the Cure bowl in Orlando. We went there when we played Tulane. It's a big time stadium, unlike the Tx. HS stadium in Montgomery. Much prefer playing Marshall than Buffalo too.

For what its worth, Jerry Palm of CBS Sports predicting Louisiana vs. Va. Tech in the Gasparilla Bowl in Tampa on 12/26. He's predicting Liberty vs. Ball St. at Camellia. We'll see how it shakes out.

That’s an ESPN bowl. Make it happen.

Interesting note: We found out from Dr. Maggard tonight it is a CUSA team going to the Camellia, not a MAC team. Unless someone from our league goes to an unaffiliated bowl (like the Gasparilla, above) all of the SBC bowl games will be against CUSA opponents.

UL Football OK so what's our Bowl situation like now?

I heard Dr. Maggard floating the idea of a bowl matchup between CC and UL but frankly I don't see CC going for it. I believe in their minds they would have nothing to prove playing us again.

CCU SHOULD be barred but ain’t gonna happen.
If Cincy wins tomorrow (high probability), CCU would almost be forced to play us in the NOLA bowl (who else would they play? Kent state or the MAc champ!!!??)

From other posters the only two SB tied bowls not having agreed to SB teams are the Camellia and Cure bowls.
