After tonight the AAC could be either 0-3 or 1-2, the CUSA is 0-2 and will either be 1-2 or 0-3, meanwhile the SBC will be 2-0. MAC will not end up very well, so I think it will be between us and MWC for the best G5 conference.

Currently the MWC is 1-0

Maybe best of all conferences. Cant imagine p5s showing well with three win teams in bowls

Y'know, elsewhere in a discussion about the prez of Ohio State, I quoted Tywin Lannister from GOT, "And any man who must say 'I am king' is no true king at all."

As I think about it, this is similar. Imagine, say, someone asked Maggard or Savoie about the Southland merging with the SBC. They would be polite, and say something like, "We would certainly be willing to talk to any Southland school that wished to join the SBC, but obviously a merger would create some difficulties that might be hard to resolve."

They would never shoot their mouths off like this guy does. A school with self-confidence never acts like this.
