OK so we are now done with the draft and 5 of the potential 7 players we thought might find their ways to NFL rosters (we all knew that would be a stretch) have found homes. Now we need to figure what are the chances of these guys sticking around.
Clearly Robert Hunt being taken early in the 2nd round is a no-doubter
Kevin Dotson being a 4th rounder is also pretty good lock
Raymond Calais will have his work cut out for him, but if any player can do it it is him. The Buc's currently have 6 running backs on the roster including Calais. Ronald Jones, last years starter and Ke'Shawn Vaughn, who was taken in the 3rd round are probably locks. 4th year pro TJ Logan who only has 5 carries in his career is on the roster, 2nd year pro Dare Ogunbowale has 11 career carries, but 2 TD's is on the roster as well as Aca'Cedric Ware who has never appeared in an NFL game. I think Raymond could make the roster based on his competition and/or make the practice squad.
Michael Jacquet and Jamarcus Bradley also have their work cut out for them. The Browns did select a WR, but it was in the 6th round so he also will have his work cut out for him, the last spot could be a competition between Donovan Peoples-Jones and JaMarcus Bradley. The Browns have 8 WR on their roster besides Bradley and Peoples-Jones. All indications are that OBJ could be traded and Jarvis Landry is a lock. The other 6 guys are 2-4 year players with limited NFL numbers. So while their is lots of competition, Bradley has a chance. The Eagles did draft a DB in Kvon Wallace out of Clemson to go with 10 other Corner Backs on their roster.
Nick Ralston and Jacques Boudreaux were not picked up by anyone so their journey my be a little tougher.
Good luck to all Cajuns making their respective NFL rosters.
