Thread: Softball players leaving for next year.

  1. Default Re: Softball players leaving for next year.

Glasco signed a total of 7 kids in the early signing period and signed to JUCO kid in December. Since they signed their NLI, they would have to request a release in order to sign to play somewhere else.

Don't get confused about kids who have "committed" and those that have signed an NLI. Girls who have committed can change their mind at anytime up until the time that they sign their NLI. As it currently stands, coaches cannot have any contact with a prospective SA until September of their junior year in high school and they cannot sign their NLI until November of their senior year. The rule also prohibits a college coach from having specific discussions about prospective SA's with travel ball coaches, high school coaches, etc. until September of their Junior year in high school though we all know that these discussions happen on the down low.

You're right. But, most of these girls "committed" before that rule went into effect.

    Cayden Baker
    Ellie Williams
    Emma Williams
    Haylie Burnson
    Kayla Falterman
    Kramer Eschete
    Sam Landry
    Samantha Graeter
    Taylor Snow
    Maddie Hayden
Plus, a catcher from Chattanooga Tennessee. Don't know her name.

Two that I do know are coming are Taylor Snow and Maddie Hayden, Hailey's little sister.

If anyone can shed more light on these players, fire away.
Last I heard Sam Landry is coming.

My comment was made into regards the list that you provided. Every girl on your list is a commitment with the exception of Taylor Snow who signed her NLI in November of last year. She will be on campus for the 2021 season.

I think every coach includes a certain amount of hype when talking about signing classes. Like I said previously, Coach Glasco is an excellent recruiter and so is his staff. For a G5 program to have back to back Top 5 recruiting classes would be something akin to David beating Goliath. And I say that with no disrespect to Coach Glasco or his program.

Taylor Snow was in this years signing class

Cayden Baker had decommitted a while back and commited to Texas A&M earlier this year
I haven't seen anything on Ellie & Emma Williams from their original commit info
    Haylie Brunson committed to Pitt

Kayla Falterman, Kramer Eschete, Sam Landry, & Sam Graeter are all still showing as committed.
In addition, you have Tyler Oubre from Destrehan, Alexa Langeliers from Keller HS in Texas, and Elia Hebel from Albany HS in Texas also commit for next years class. I haven't seen anything recently on Maddie Hayden.

And just think, if we could get Bailey to come play her last year here what that would do to the class.

We are a G5 title program but we play like a P5.

Mr. Mark is staying away from this, lol. Bailey is a first class kid and first class player, would have looked to see her in a Cajuns uniforms. She hit some balls at STM that I don't think landed yet.

It would have been interesting to see how the Cajuns would fare against Alabama. Preseason, every major poll had Alabama ranked number one and most were predicting them to win the world series. After 22 games, they ended up 14 and 8, hardly number one and hardly a world series contender. Too much preseason pressure?
