She was 2nd team All PAC-12 as a sophomore and 3rd team last year. She was dismissed from the Az State roster right before the 2020 season started. No reason was given for her dismissal.

She wasn't 3rd team last year, she didn't play last year.

You might want to double check that. When AZ State played in the Tuscaloosa regional last year against Alabama, Jade was their starting shortstop.

I think the confusion is that she did not play this year - remember there was a season underway when this all hit.

I'm behind the times! I wasn't aware that we are already referring to the 2020 season as last year.

I agree. Last year isn’t the current year despite the stranglehold the Wuhan has.

Our Coach appears to be able to recruit softball players. I think we should consider keeping him. This is really fun to follow this program. Looking fwd to whatever the year of the next season is.

I read where another player has signed. Frankie Izard from Lake Land College. Was an All-American last year. I guess juco. Anyone know of this?

Anytime a player has been "all conference" on any team, 1st or second, in PAC or SEC that is a really good sign. Anytime they are a starter on any team that says "USA" across chest is another really good sign. Beyond exciting.
