Honest question. How many times have you seen a right handed hitter hit a single to RF and get thrown out? In all my years of travel, high school and college ball, I can honestly count on one hand the number of times that I have seen it happen. And the majority of the times, the hitter slipped coming out of the box. Now, getting thrown out on a ground ball hit deep into the hole? I need a calculator to add those outs up!😀
Hudek played baseball in Bossier Community College in 2016. She spent 2017 and 2018 at A&M. Then 2019 and 2020 at UL. So, if she comes back it will be her sixth year. I think she plans to go to PT school. I'd be very surprised if she comes back. But, if she does, along with Summer, who will be here for her sixth year also, UL will field, probably, one of the oldest teams in college softball.
Alaina Guiarnio has decided to hang it up. Super kid with super work ethic and attitude. Glasco said she could start defensively for 90 percent of teams in the country she was that good on the field. Any way best of luck to her, just waiting on Hudek decision.
Alaina was a tropper.
Of course she’s a great kid. She’s from St. Charles Parish
