A lot of pitchers I'm sure were pitching around her.

She has been pitched around since she was young in high school.

Like Lexie was here and Lauren Chamberlain was at OK.

She probably has a little more around her now than she did at STM.

Last year Bailey had 192 at bats. She hit 26 home runs. That's one HR every 7.8 at bats. This year 50 at bats with 2 HRs. One HR every 25 at bats. Last year's batting average, .375. This year .280. A drop of almost 100 points. I can't think of any other explanation, except, she was playing hurt.

Rumor was she was playing with a broken finger on her glove hand.

Glasco has said that Hudek isn’t returning.

Huge lost, but we will still be ok if we develop a #2 and #3 pitcher for the future.

It is a loss but sometimes these athletes are ready to move on with real life once they have their degree in hand. I for one am not sure any college sports will be going on by next February. When I ask folks what will be different then than today I don't get a good answer. There is no guarantee an effective vaccine will be ever developed. That means the longer the economy is shutdown the longer it will be before we are on the other side of this thing. Developing herd immunity requires many healthy people to catch it and the nation is not ready for that. Eventually that will occur but it may be a couple of years as long as lockdowns keep being extended. Sorry I did not mean to turn a softball thread into a virus thread. Just wanted to point out there is no guarantee 2021 will not be impacted.
