Not many teams have two AA pitchers on staff that support each other. Rats.
Next two signing classes will be in the top 5 in the nation. Hang on good times ahead.

I think transfer U has had negative connotations in the past, but I don't see that it has to be a bad thing.
Correct, at te end of the day he is building depth, injuries can happen at any point and some kids may leave after or during the fall, eg Callie Martin. Taylor Fauwcett and Britni Rufus after last fall season.

From his willingness to build a roster through transfers, it made me wonder what affect this has on team chemistry? Does this instill any loyalty in the players to Coach Glasco knowing that he is always checking the transfer portal looking for players that he feels are better than what he already has? If I am a high school kid being recruited by Glasco, would his proclivity towards using the transfer portal be something that would affect my decision to attend UL? Let's say that Glasco is able to get Konwent to transfer to UL. The fans would be excited but I wonder about the reaction from the girls on the team affected by that transfer (Curry, Gremillion, Boswell and Hudek if she returns) and from the players not directly affected by this transfer. I realize that you want your players to compete. It just appears that Glasco is constantly looking for the next best thing and his attitude towards his players is one of "you're good enough for me right now but I am always looking for something better".
Coach Saban would like to speak with you. Every year he bring in top 5 classes and is 5 deep at every position with 4 and 5 star kids. Doesn't hurt his ability to get kids into his program. If your a competitor than you welcome better players to push you.

Call it what you want. To compete at the highest level you need to find the best available players whether from HS ranks or the portal. He's not recruiting like ML, nothing like it at all. He has national reach and a great reputation which in many ways explains the numerous transfers. Kids want to play for him, for UL Ragins Cajuns and that means compete or go somewhere else. We've had our share of kids leaving as well....some pretty good ones too!

Keep in mind half of his freshman incoming class last year quit or transferred out.

Also Glasco has a lot of former players that are coaching travel ball and other places that are helping send him kids that maybe un happy else where. Lots of variables.

With his history, Glasco is definitely uniquely positioned. To start his head coaching career in a place that was almost there also bodes well for him.

It is in my mind. Hence my point that he may not be good at evaluating and/or developing HS talent. For him to be successful, the Cajuns may need to be transfer U. Once again, I am not saying it is a bad thing, but let's not say we aren't living on transfers right now.

This would've been GG's 3rd season, and really 2nd with his recruiting class, so it is still early, but Roman is the only HS signee of his that has shown the promise of being a D1 impact player.

Point taken. I still think it's a little early in his tenure here to make this call.

His past coaching was much in the very successful pre college competitive travel and league farms. All the best players played there. He still has lots of contacts there for recruiting freshmen. He came here to a program that was ready to win a NC but just had not gotten there yet. Understand now?

Which two recruiting classes did he have that was his players? Please explain.
