Mock Drafts

There was one yesterday on "The Athletic" website that was interesting. Someone did a mock draft for all seven rounds. His take on Sun Belt players.

Robert Hunt--2nd round
Kevin Dotson---4th round
Raymond Calais--6th round (to the Saints, no less).

App--Akeem Davis-Gaither and Darrynton Evans--3rd round
GS--K Tyler Bass--5th and DB Kindle Vildor -6th

I think that is low for Dotson and high for Calais.

I've seen Dotson projected anywhere from 4th round to undrafted, but it only takes one team so we'll see with him. Hunt is firmly in 2nd/3rd round territory, though.

I love Calais, but I think his size is a knock, especially in this bizarre 2020 pre-draft process where teams don't get to do their usual workouts and interviews. He'll get a shot as a UDFA if nothing else, but I do hope he gets his name called.

Other than the honor of hearing your name called, being an UDFA has more upside to me, than being a 7th round pick. With a good agent, who knows NFL rosters, you can find an ideal spot for you,

I think that is low for Dotson and high for Calais.

I agree. Dotson in particular got screwed by the combine snub and lack of a normal pro day. If he slips to the 4th round, some one is getting a steal
