Horrible ending. Never ran a play the last 2 possessions. Just dribble around and shoot. Down 1 and couldn’t get an open shot because the “play” had 3 players just standing around.

Incredibly frustrating. Also, Johnson had 20 pts. in the first half and only 3 in the second. Marlin held him out with most of the half with 4 fouls. Hell, at least let him play.

Twelve points from the 10 minute mark, a pace that would be around 90+. There's the ball game. Why we did not drive the ball for the last shot befuddles me. It's a shame Bob missed all those shots in the last 10 minutes.

The last 6 or 7 minutes, we got into a hurry, especially as they started their run. We wanted to answer everything with a big shot. We stopped hitting the boards and moving the ball. As the coach, you have to see what's playing out in front of you and discuss with the team and settle them down. I understand Marlin can't shoot the ball for the players but he can but he can and should identify the situation and set a course of action which it doesn't appear he did.

Think about this. GaSouth gave us around a 7 minute head start in the second half after we lead at halftime and we still couldn’t close the deal.

You are exactly right. That's where identifying what is going on as a coach is important and frankly his job. You alter the plan and lengthen your possessions and work for a better shot. You have the advantage. This is basic basketball.

I felt like in the first half he substituted well. After half, he got away from that and you could see how our starters were exhausted towards the end of the game, especially on defense.
