Thread: Coastal Carolina Powers Its Way Past Louisiana in Sun Belt Opener

  1. Default Coastal Carolina Powers Its Way Past Louisiana in Sun Belt Opener

Coastal Carolina used the home run ball to grab hold of the lead and four different pitchers combined to hold down 5th-ranked Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns' offense in 7-1 win for the hosts in the 2020 Sun Belt Conference opener for both teams at St. John Stadium.

Is this Glasco's first conference loss since taking over? I know it sucks but pretty impressive. I'm sure they will bounce back.

No. He lost some conference games his first year. Went undefeated last year.

We weren’t going to go undefeated in conference two seasons in a row. Girls will move on from this and still have a hell of a season.

I know they will. I have not seen a coach who hates loosing as much as Coach G. It looks like he takes it so personally.

Pitching has not been as dominant as I thought it would be, nor has hitting been as consistent as it will be towards the end of the season. But this team really has the potential to make a great showing at the World Series.

    Geaux Cajuns!
