    Much better.

We are definitely gonna pay for the loss on Friday, but didn't Texas also lose one to Fresno State that didn't seem to hurt them much? Not sure how good they are, but we are usually judged much more harshly than the P5 schools. We just need to take care of business for a few weeks and hopefully we'll be right back in the hunt.

We caught enough attention in polls last week that we may get a pass for letting our guard down in game one of yet another road trip after putting our foot down in the last two games.

Think we’re held to a higher standard then a top tier P5 school. We’re unlikely to stay in the top 8 almost regardless of what those (top 12)below us do short of being swept. Hope I’m wrong. We definitely have a shorter leach

You're probably right. They will likely have to sweep FSU and beat Bama to get into the conversation for a top 8 seed.

You mean the 20-4 Fresno State with a top 10 RPI??

I get the bias thing but with our schedule we will be in the discussions for a top eight seed with the selection committee up to the very end unless something drastic were happen.

I agree, we have already made the statement. We need to take 2 out of the three Ala/Fl St games and probably drop no more than 1 or 2 other games and we will be ok. I really believe we will get a pass on Friday’s game.

Good point, but keep in mind who historically controls the selection committee.

I know exactly who "controls" the committee. I usually look up membership for the selection committees in softball and baseball each year. I think most people would be surprised who typically makes up these selection committees.

It may make for a good story line but their really isn't a conspiracy going on. Now some of them may be a little naive and lets face it you always have one or two people in any group who are, shall we say "different".
