You would be correct. That’s exactly what I said. Not sure how one could interpret it any other way.

    See Rougarou’s response.

Yep, in a roundabout fashion. Thanks.

I don't know what was discussed, but there is usually speculation about mutually agreed decisions to seek playing time elsewhere. For whatever reason, those guys never come straight back here.

Yeah. Orynn’s situation was unique. I can’t think of any guy that returned from juco after being cut by us. There may be a few others. I can’t remember if Casbon was here in the fall freshman year before going to LSUE.

Well, while I was shocked we only kept two freshmen, I wasn’t surprised that both Haufpour and LeJeune weren’t the two. Julian Brock is the real deal. So he was always going to be one of the two kept.

If one did not know who Julian Brock was before he started playing in games here, he could not know he was the real deal. The next thing I was shocked about was how good I thought we were going to be if the pitching staff was as advertised and one with the talent level I thought LeJeune possessed would be cut. How good must those that made the team be?

Then I heard Deggs talking about Omaha. Needless to say, I was pumped for this season to start, and now.

Low and behold we are finding out that our pitching staff does in fact have holes and we are destined to be a low to mid 200 hitting team. Oh well, I will be cheering for the Cajuns again this afternoon.

Shocked I was, to realize how hard it is for past and present coaches to evaluate talent.

Through 14 games we have one triple and one HR last in the Sun Belt, last in the conference in doubles too. Weakest hitting team I can remember. It is pretty obvious Angel is wild and routinely gets behind in the count. He had big ERA's in JUCO.
