Lafayette shoulda been thrown in the fire from the beginning. The dude has been giving Bob some really solid minutes lately. Too bad he hasn’t had the chance to improve over the course of the year.

I would say this, the matchup would be closer than you think. You are right the current starters would probably win, but I think Kobe is better than Jalen, not by a lot but by some. He has a much bigger upside, Geuye and Smith are almost the same player that is correct. The two question marks are Lowery and Cadwell. Both of those guys would be playing significant minutes if they were healthy.

Mylik and Cedric are the difference makers. PJ is a streaky shooter that would not be starting, he would be a bench guy for sure. Cadwell would be on the court much more than Hardy.

He gave a few solid minutes but he needs to put on about 40 pounds

No excuse for this in Louisiana.

We should hire J.J. Davenport as his personal nutritionist.

You are wrong once again. Lowery would not be playing at all. He and Spenkuch would be redshirting even if healthy.

You are WRONG to be so ugly to Dave. Many on this board are WRONG, often. Dave is not one. He spends a lot of time giving us valuable analytical information. You may have a different opinion, but seldom is he wrong.

I'm telling you he is wrong. Lowery would be redshirting if injuries were not the problem. How am I being ugly? I'm just pointing at that one flaw.

At one point he wasn’t available for multiple games due to injury this year.

Well he should have spent that time eating lots of rice and gravy, potatoes, hamburgers and blue bell ice cream.

My issue with Lafayette is his coordination. He cannot hold on to the basketball when trying to rebound. Also threw away 2 outlet passes off rebounds last night.

Didn’t they try that with Graylin Warner years back and dude actually lost weight.

Maybe we can put him on the all time skinny UL team. Warner and Hill for starters.

On the turnover passes, one wasn’t his fault, I think it was Ced didn’t have his head up. Think with more PT together, Lafayette could make us faster, looking to release the rebound/pass quickly.
