At one point he wasn’t available for multiple games due to injury this year.

Well he should have spent that time eating lots of rice and gravy, potatoes, hamburgers and blue bell ice cream.

My issue with Lafayette is his coordination. He cannot hold on to the basketball when trying to rebound. Also threw away 2 outlet passes off rebounds last night.

Didn’t they try that with Graylin Warner years back and dude actually lost weight.

Maybe we can put him on the all time skinny UL team. Warner and Hill for starters.

On the turnover passes, one wasn’t his fault, I think it was Ced didn’t have his head up. Think with more PT together, Lafayette could make us faster, looking to release the rebound/pass quickly.

Right now we could actually put together a better team of non playing players than playing ones.
One thing I can't take away from him is his team has fought and played hard all year.

With the low body count, redshirts would have been pulled if healthy. Certainly you know this.

Lowery would be playing because he wouldn't have been redshirted. He was injured playing in a game which would have not allowed him to redshirt.

Really, the guy who played 19 minutes in the first game of the season, when we were the most healthy all year would have redshirted. The guy who would have played more minutes that game had he not gotten hurt would have redshirted. The guy who scored 7 points on 3 of 8 shooting would have redshirted?

This is all speculation, but when the season started the expectation with what we had available was that Lowery was going to contribute this year.

I would have loved for us to have been able to redshirt Lowery, that just was not an option, had he been healthy right now, Lowery would be playing and playing quite a bit.

Keep in mind that Lowery won the 3 point shooting contest during “midnight madness”.
